Organizing & Campaigns

Currently, we are working to shift the way our education system functions. We want an anti-racist, equitable, and just education system that nurtures a sense of belonging and ability to thrive. We want to influence the policies and practices of our schools and to be able to hold them accountable. Organizing helps us build a strong base of people to drive our campaigns forward and reach our goal.

Workshops

In order to be better advocates for our children, we must continue to educate ourselves and understand how systems work. We host various workshops throughout the year to learn and engage with various topics addressing forms of oppression, the education system, community organizing, and system change. Community Gatherings

Once a month, we host our Community Meets series. We aim to create safe spaces for anti-racist community learning and dialogue. This is an excellent opportunity to connect. We believe that building strong community relationships and networks are essential. This is also a great way to also keep informed and involved in current community efforts within New London.
